Mario's Big American Cookbook Giveaway!


A special weekend post just for you!

Mario Batali's new cookbook is out and it is bigger than life, as is he!


His BIG AMERICAN COOKBOOK is his 10th cookbook and is a different animal than the others.


This one is strictly American, no Molto Mario here.

Family recipes from Ohio, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Texas and other states in this great country and the cultural heritage of the people that make their recipes famous, regional and delicious.

We attended the Food52 party for Mario last night and got to sample some of the recipes from the book.

Mario prepared the jambalaya; trout balls; deviled eggs; black eyed peas; pear salad and black and white cookies (all recipes in the book).

Because I love you, I am giving away 2 of his new books to my readers.
Early Christmas/Hanukkah present!
